This can be used Portrait or Landscape. With a matching colour mount. If your work is smaller than A5 you will see the mount colour between the edge of your artwork and the frame. Our house style is to mount the work in front of the mount card so that you can enjoy the whole work as an object. The Serpentine is ideal for small works, postcards, or photographs. It can hang on a wall but can also be freestanding.

The finished size of this item is 20cm x 24cm. The frames are made with a tolerance of 2-3mm - due to the natural wood used to make them. The measurements are rounded up to the nearest half centimetre on a not-larger-than basis , so you can be sure the frame will fit your intended space.

If your work is A5 then 2-3mm of the work will be covered by the frame rebate and you will see no mount showing - some of the image will also be covered by the Serpentine edge of the frame. If you would like the whole of your work visible then A6 is ideal ( postcard size - 148mm x 105mm). The black & white image framed in the Mustard Yellow frame is A6 print size.

Colour notes: the colour of your frame will appear different depending on the light levels of where you hang it - also, the device you are viewing this on may adjust colours slightly according to your settings. However, if you’re looking for playful rich colours rest assured, that’s what we do!
